This page explains how to delete your Auracompia account, or part of the personal data associated with it. What we collect and why, and the full detail of how long we keep each type of data, are set out in our Privacy Policy (see Section 6.4 on retention and Section 10 on account deactivation and deletion), together with our Terms of Service. This page is a help page: if anything here differs from those documents, those documents govern.
1. Delete your whole account
You can request deletion of your account in either of the following ways.
Option A — In the app (recommended)
- Open the Auracompia app and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Go to Me (bottom navigation).
- Open Settings.
- Open Account & Security.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm the prompt.
When you delete your account in the app, deletion takes effect immediately after you confirm. If you create an account again later, it will be a new, separate account; deleted data cannot be recovered.
Option B — By email (if you can no longer access the app)
- Send an email from the email address registered to your Auracompia account to info@auracompia.com.
- Use the subject line “Account Deletion Request” and state that you want your Auracompia account and associated personal data deleted.
- We may ask you to verify that you control the registered email address before we act.
Your account remains active until we complete the request. We will complete verified deletion requests within 30 days.
2. What is deleted
| Data | What happens |
|---|---|
| Account information Email address, password hash, nickname, profile photo, and sign-in identifiers (for example, your Google account ID or phone number) |
Deleted or irreversibly de-identified. These values are cleared or replaced with non-reversible values, and we will cease active processing. |
| Uploaded avatar material Photos you uploaded to generate an avatar |
Removed from our storage. |
| Uploaded voice material Audio recordings submitted to clone a voice |
Removed from our storage. |
| Generated companion assets 3D avatar models and cloned voice files created from your material |
Removed from our storage. |
| Shared copies Copies of your companions that other users claimed through a share link |
Also removed. Deletion cascades to those copies. |
| Persona configuration Companion names, gender, personality, and speaking style settings |
Deleted together with the companion. |
| Friends and contacts Your contact list, friend relationships, pending friend requests, and messages relayed between you and other users |
Deleted. The other party will no longer see you in their contact list, and relayed messages sent to or from your account are removed. |
| Conversation records Text messages exchanged with a companion |
Deleted. Deleting a single companion does not delete your conversation records — they remain available to your account until you delete the account itself (see the Privacy Policy, Section 6.4). |
| Device push tokens Notification identifiers registered by the app on your device |
Removed. We clear the push token and platform recorded for your account, so no further notifications are delivered to it. |
3. Credits, subscriptions, and records we keep
| Data | Retention |
|---|---|
| Unused credits Credits in your balance, including purchased credits |
Forfeited when you delete your account. This is consistent with the Terms of Service (Section 7): purchased credits are generally non-refundable, except (a) where required by applicable law, (b) for the portion of a Google Play purchase refundable under Google Play's refund policy, or (c) for failures caused by us, in which case you may request a refund of your unused balance. Deleting a single companion does not affect your credit balance. |
| Subscriptions A subscription purchased through Google Play |
Not cancelled by deleting your account. If you subscribed through Google Play, you must cancel that subscription separately. To cancel, open the Google Play Store, tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, and select your Auracompia subscription. If you can no longer access the app, you can also contact us at info@auracompia.com and we will help you locate the right cancellation path. Refunds for subscriptions are handled under Google Play's refund policy. |
| Records we are required to keep by law such as transaction and accounting records relating to purchases |
Retained as required by applicable tax and accounting law (typically up to 7 years), then deleted or irreversibly de-identified. |
| Security and audit logs records of key account operations |
Retained for security and audit purposes, and deleted on a rolling basis (currently after 6 months). |
| AI-generated images Images created with the image generation feature that you did not use to build a companion |
Not removed when you delete your account. These images are stored under a random task identifier and are not linked to your account, your email address, or any companion. You can ask us to delete any of them at any time by writing to info@auracompia.com. |
| De-identified or aggregated data data that is no longer linked to you |
May be retained indefinitely. Where such data is not treated as personal data under applicable law, we maintain reasonable technical and organizational measures to prevent re-identification. |
Throughout this page, de-identified means that data has been processed so that it can no longer be linked to you.
4. Delete part of your data without deleting your account
You do not need to delete your whole account to remove avatar and voice material. You can request the deletion of part of your data in either of the following ways.
Option A — In the app (recommended)
Deleting an individual companion inside the app removes the photos, audio recordings, and generated assets associated with that companion, while your account remains active. Your balance, your other companions, and your account are not affected.
Option B — By email (if you can no longer access the app)
Send an email from the email address registered to your Auracompia account to info@auracompia.com, use the subject line “Partial Data Deletion Request”, and describe which data you want removed (for example, a specific companion's photos and voice recordings). We may ask you to verify that you control the registered email address before we act. We will complete verified requests within 30 days.
